Log Doctor

Go to the Log Doctor and paste a crash report or server log. You can also upload a .log or .txt file up to 5 MB, or paste an mclo.gs link. You get:

• a plain-English diagnosis: what broke, why, and numbered fix steps;
• the highlighted error region of your log;
• the plugins and versions we detected;
• a permanent link you can share in Discord or forums.

Permalinks are public. IP addresses and player names are removed automatically before storage, but do not paste anything secret.

Simple known issues are matched instantly and unlimited. Novel errors get a deep AI analysis, capped at 10 per day per IP address. Connected servers have their own per-plan limits, which are separate from this and higher.

Reading a diagnosis

A result page has up to four cards. Top to bottom:

1. The diagnosis card. The badge next to the title tells you how the answer was produced. "Instant match" and "Known issue" mean the error matched a signature we have seen before; "AI analysis" means a model read your log fresh. A green "Community-validated fix" badge means other admins confirmed this fix worked.
2. What went wrong explains the cause in plain English, and How to fix it gives numbered steps in the order to try them.
3. Confidence is the system's own estimate. A short bar means the diagnosis is a best effort; treat the steps as leads rather than a prescription.
4. Error region shows the slice of your log the diagnosis is based on, with the error lines highlighted. Detected plugins lists what we found in the log; if a plugin you know is installed is missing here, the log may be incomplete.

Under every diagnosis: "Did this fix it?". Please vote. Yes votes promote a diagnosis to community-validated; no votes flag it for re-analysis. Votes make the next person's diagnosis better.

When it cannot help

If the log contains no error, the page says so rather than inventing one. If there is an error but not enough context, paste more of the log, including the lines before the error. Deep analysis has daily limits; if you hit them, known-issue matching still works.
