Quickstart
Account to first diagnosis in five minutes.
This walks you from nothing to your first automatic diagnosis. If you just want a one-off answer about a crash, skip all of this and paste the log into the Log Doctor instead. No account needed there.
1. Create an account
Register with email and password, or click Continue with Discord. Every account gets a personal organization: servers, billing and teammates hang off the org. Roles are owner (everything), admin (manage servers), and viewer (read-only).
2. Add your server
In the dashboard, click Add Minecraft server and give it a name. You land on the server's setup page, which walks you through every remaining step in order, shows your claim token, and updates on its own as each step completes. You can leave and come back any time; the Finish setup link on the dashboard brings you back.
The first step connects your real server, with one of two methods:
- The agent plugin, recommended. Full metrics, crash capture, and the ability to apply actions later.
- Pterodactyl panel, if you cannot install plugins. No plugin needed, fewer metrics.
On the paid plan, the setup page continues past the connection: turn on the test player, save the join address, link an account or install the doorman if your setup needs one, and run a first test that proves a real player can get in.
3. Wait for the first events
Once the plugin pairs (or the panel poller connects), the server shows as online in the dashboard. From then on, warnings and errors from your server are collected and diagnosed automatically. Click the server name to see live sparklines and the event feed. The servers and events page explains what you are looking at.
4. Get your first diagnosis
You do not have to break your server to test it. Any error your server logs will appear in the event feed with an expandable diagnosis card: what broke, why, and numbered fix steps. If your server is quietly healthy, enjoy that; the diagnosis will be there when you need it.
5. Optional: alerts in Discord
If you want to hear about problems where you already are, set up the Discord bot. Linking a channel takes two minutes and works on the free plan (daily digest) and the paid plan (real-time alerts).
