MCTotem docsDiscord bot
Alerts, diagnoses and approvals in the channel where your staff already is.
The bot brings MCTotem to Discord: health checks, diagnosis cards with vote buttons, and one-tap approval of actions.
Setup
- Invite the MCTotem bot to your Discord server. You need Manage Server there.
- In the dashboard, open your server and click Link Discord, then copy the code. It is valid for 15 minutes.
- Run
/link-accountand open the one-time link it replies with, while signed in to MCTotem. Whoever binds a channel has to be a connected admin or owner. If you sign in to MCTotem with Continue with Discord, you are already connected. - In the Discord channel that should receive alerts, run
/linkwith the code.
Links are per-channel: one channel per server, and each command answers for the server its channel is linked to.

Alerts
Paid orgs get real-time pushes: crash, new error type, TPS below 15 for 5 minutes, memory above 90% for 5 minutes. Free orgs get one daily digest at 06:00 UTC. Plan details are on plans and billing.
Who can use which command
Commands come in three tiers. Reading is open to the channel by default; anything that changes your Minecraft server needs both Discord's Manage Server permission and a connected MCTotem account, so the audit log names a person rather than a Discord id.

Connecting takes about ten seconds: run /link-account in Discord, open the one-time link it replies with, and confirm while signed in to MCTotem. The reply is only visible to you and the link works once. Signing in to MCTotem with "Continue with Discord" already connects you.
There is no shared password anywhere in this. A password would tell us that somebody knew a secret, not who acted, and it could not be revoked for one person. Disconnecting an account in the dashboard removes its Discord powers immediately.
To restrict things further, Discord's own controls apply: under Server Settings, Integrations, MCTotem, you can grant or deny any command per role or per channel. To close the read tier as well, set the channel to accept read commands only from connected accounts.
