Questions
Is it safe to let it act?
MCTotem ships observe-only. You enable action classes one at a time, every action is signed and expires in 10 minutes, dangerous commands are refused by the plugin itself, and a kill switch stops everything instantly. Read the safety model
What servers work?
Paper and Spigot 1.19 or newer on Java 17 or newer with the agent plugin. Servers on a Pterodactyl panel connect without a plugin, with fewer metrics and no fixes or test player. Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, vanilla and Bedrock are not supported yet. See the full compatibility list
Do I need the plugin?
For the Log Doctor, no: paste a log with no account. Monitoring and diagnosis also work through a Pterodactyl panel. Applied fixes and the test player need the agent plugin, so they are not available on a panel-only connection.
What does it send off my server?
Warnings and errors from the log, crash reports, health metrics every 60 seconds, and your plugin list. IP addresses and player names are removed on your server before anything is transmitted. See exactly what is sent
Does it work with BungeeCord or Velocity?
Yes. Install the agent plugin on your backend Paper or Spigot servers as usual. For test player verification on a proxy network, a small doorman plugin admits the test player at the proxy.
Is the Log Doctor really free?
Yes. Paste a log, get a diagnosis and a permalink, no account needed. Known issues match instantly and are unlimited. Novel errors use deep AI analysis, which has fair-use daily limits.
